It was lovely to connect with fellow photographer, Lisa Lakes, and meet and photograph her lovely family! What a fun, adorable group. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with me, even if just for an hour.

Beyond in love with this wedding.
A fun, vibrant couple completely in love. Adorable babies and kids galore. Every element in place, this a was gorgeously decorated event. Happy and loving guests poured into the barn by the busload. Carefree and contagious, this celebration was everything a simple, country wedding should be.

What a cool venue! I love all the detail shots you captured, too.
What an ADORABLE wedding! They have great style!! I bet they were super fun!
Love all the details! What a beautiful wedding. Gorgeous job on the bride/groom portraits!
You remember Matilda, the precious little girl of Nick and Carly. You may not, however, recognize her at first. She’s grown so incredibly! Look at her from her first week to her third month! I cannot share my love of my Baby Collection enough. Several sessions throughout your little darling’s first year give you an opportunity to capture each adorable little stage of growth, skills, personality, and of course, outfits. It amazes me to see how much my tiniest clients have grown, eventually not being tiny anymore at all. I look forward, happily, to photographing the Pagels family throughout the years.

We traveled to Garwood Orchard in LaPorte, a beautiful U-Pick Apple Orchard and market. Of course, I didn’t get out the door without bags of apples, baked goods, condiments, and yummy cherry apple cider. It was lovely to spend the morning with this little lady and her loving parents. I cannot wait for the winter holidays, when we are due for our six month session!

Such a lovely Sunday afternoon wedding! Lindsay and Ryan, friends and family in tow, traveled a few miles up the Lake Michigan coastline to adorable St. Joseph, Michigan to celebrate their wedding. With warm sun, cool breeze, big blue skies– it was the perfect September day. Photographing these two, so in love, was such a pleasure.

Rain was inevitable, but they couldn’t care less. I received a text message from Candice the evening before her wedding. “We are in Michigan now, whatever happens, happens. Food, booze, and music… we can’t go wrong!” Her words couldn’t be more true. As the rain poured down outside, drenching the ceremony chairs set along the stone aisle leading to the rustic arbor, guests poured into seats to watch Candice and Jimmy marry. We all celebrated their marriage, shoulder to shoulder, cooling off with iced towels in the hot barn. Sweat soaked, dancing through thick air, I didn’t hear a single complaint.

*gaaahhh* these are awesome.
Gorgeous!
Beautiful!! They look so in love!
