Adorable little Matilda joined me in my studio this week for her six month photos. Her crafty mom, Carly, made this fantastic headband to hold clips of so many different styles. Not only did she make one for Matilda, she also made one for me! I have added tons of lovely new hairpieces at the studio, all thanks to the generous and kind Pagels Family.

Oh. my. cute. Little Oliver and family visited my studio this week to celebrate his first birthday with a little portrait session that started with a little flannel and ended with a big cupcake. This is most definitely my kind of session!
WHAT a year. I am so appreciative of another incredible year of photography, so rich with joy. Thank you, my photography family, for making 2012 full of such warmth and happiness. Thank you for sharing your families’ journeys as you grow. Looking back at such wonderful memories excites me for the years ahead. With the new year upon us, I’m excited for more. This winter I’ll be polishing up my website, adding lovely new products to my catalog, and opening a studio in downtown St. Joseph, Michigan. I cannot wait to photograph all of you, again and again, for many years to come!
